Chop Chestnut Cabins, are 5 beautiful, fully furnished secluded rental cabins that are located in the Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park Area of the Daniel Boone National Forest. They are privately owned cabins for rent by a lifelong resident of the Slade Kentucky area. The rental cabins are located at the end of the Chop Chestnut Road on land that has been owned by the family for many years.
The High Rock area, where Chop Chestnut Road is located, is one of the highest areas in Powell County and the Daniel Boone National Forest. This area is noted for beautiful rock formations, where several caves are located, surrounded by hills and valleys all created by the Red River.
Chop Chestnut Cabins are located within minutes of scenic Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Resort Park. Making our rental cabins the ideal family vacation spot while in the Daniel Boone National Forest and breath taking Eastern Kentucky.
